ACT CPS3 Fire Alarm Control Panel Suppression Kit

The ACT-CPS-3-FIRE protects metal fire alarm control panels from EMI, RFI and nearby lightning via the AC, DC suppy and Earth. Each filter within this kit will continuously clamp electrical spikes via the respective supply and help protect equipment.

Kit contents

• ACT 230MSF mains suppression filter - a mains suppression filter to protect the 230VAC mains supply from EMI, RFI and nearby lightning.
• ACT 1166 HF earth line choke - prevents RFI from affecting the supply on control panels.
• ACT 1414 24V spike suppressor - clamps the 24VDC supply against electrical spikes such as induc AC and nearby lightning.

It is recommended to fit this kit as standard on all take-overs, were the quality of the installation is unknown, or when unidentifiable sources of interference are disrupting the normal operation of equipment.
