Orbis Marine Multisensor Detector
£27.20 – £34.04
Summary
Orbis Marine Conventional Fire Detectors offer a wide range of features that are designed to enhance reliability, save time, and reduce false alarms within the marine environment.
Orbis Marine products operate in the same way as standard devices but are subject to additional approvals and tests specific to the marine environment. Like all of the Orbis Marine range of smoke and heat detectors, the Orbis Marine Multisensor Detector is approved for use in marine applications.
The Orbis Marine Multisensor Detector Benefits from the same false alarm reduction technology as the Orbis Marine Optical Smoke Detector, enhanced by the addition of a thermal sensing element. Multisensor detectors are recognised as good detectors for general use but are additionally more sensitive to fast-burning, flaming fires.
Please note, all Orbis Marine Detectors require an Orbis Marine Base in order to be mounted.
Approvals
Orbis marine detectors are approved by the following bodies:
- Lloyd’s Register of Shipping
- Maritime and Coastguard Agency
