    The Site Alert RF comes with a host of important features and boasts an open air range of approximately 1km. Each system can have up to 30 subsidiary units connected to a Master unit. And, with 8 different channels, you have plenty of scope.

    The whole family are famous for their silent chat. Uniquely, the system includes a silent automatic disconnection warning, meaning that should a unit become disconnected, the Master unit can immediately identify when one of his buddies is in trouble. This enables you to deal with the situation quickly and easily.

    The distinctive weatherproof design is suitable for indoor and outdoor locations. They are solely powered by off-the shelf alkaline batteries, so ongoing maintenance is easy and economical.

    What is the range?

    The open air range is approximately 1km. All Subsidiary units have to be within range of the Master unit. In practice, within a building we would suggest the following guidelines:

    • When located in stairwells up to 6 storeys can be covered
    • Each Subsidiary unit indoors should be within approximately 50m of the Master unit

    Do I need special gear to programme this?

    No, the units are addressed using DIP switches, making the system very simple to set up.

    Can I have more than 1 Master unit on a site?

    Yes, there are 8 channels, so up to 8 systems can be run separately in close proximity/

    Do I need a control panel?

    No, the system does not require a control panel. A Master Unit is required for each system.

    How do I silence the alarms?

    By pressing the switch on any unit 3 times in succession.

    How do I know when the batteries need replacing?

    There is automatic battery monitoring function on each unit, and a visual warning is given when the batteries need replacing.

    What frequency is the system operating on?

    The bandwidth is 868mHz and the units are equipped with Class 1 receivers providing reliable connections between units.
