This addressable fire alarm system base has been designed solely to accommodate the XP95 Intelligent Isolator, a device that isolates short-circuits in addressable fire alarm system loops and minimises disruption.
The XP95 Intelligent Isolator Base allows you to install Intelligent Isolators along the alarm system loop. Between each base and isolator it is possible to have up to 20 different detectors and call points. In the event of a short-circuit the isolator will stop power transmission to the affected section of the loop, allowing the rest of the addressable fire system to function as normal. When the short-circuit is removed the isolator will automatically restore power the the section.
