There are 6 different Fyreye detector bases, available for the conventional range of detectors, namely common base, diode base and relay base.
The Diode base is used on systems that do need line integrity on head removal. This would include all conventional systems that mix detectors & call points on the same line. (Note that the Premier M, MZ & L will need an active enod of line to work with diode bases.)
