An aluminium frame holding the illuminating polycarbonate exit sign is supported by a robust steel ceiling mounted bracket and fourteen bright LEDs in the main body light up the exit sign legend.
This is a maintained emergency exit sign which means it will illuminate constantly, using mains power in normal conditions and an internal Nickel-Cadmium battery in the event of power failure. During an emergency you can expect this exit sign to stay illuminated for up to 3 hours.
The battery in the unit also has over-charge and over-discharge protection.
