The Zeta Magnetic Door Holder is designed to retain a fire door open, against the force of its own closing device.
In the event of a fire, the door holder magnet can be turned off by the fire alarm, allowing the door to shut.
The 240V AC door holder is powered through the mains. Unless otherwise stated in the fire alarm control panel manual, these must not be switched through the fire alarm control panel aux relay. (Most fire alarm control panel relays are SELV-low voltage). Fit a mains rated relay driven from the sounder circuit, and switch through this relay instead.
An optional floor mounting bracket is also available here.
